About Mac's
Mac’s Gun Shop was established in 1947 by Army gunsmith Richard “Mac” McBride after returning from to Tyler after World War II. Known around Tyler, TX, and the surrounding areas for having extensive knowledge in firearms, hunting and marksmanship , McBride became the go-to man for hunting and firearm advice. Over the years he passed his knowledge and expertise to his son Mark and grandsons Wes and Matt.
Today Mark, Wes, and Matt carry on his legacy by providing East Texas with unrivaled gunsmithing services and expertise. In today’s fast paced age of technology it can be difficult to keep up with the latest trends in the firearms industry, so we take pride in being your go-to resource for any and all questions.
